Rain Policy

Safety is our top priority and the facility will close in case of severe weather. We will re-open 30 minutes after severe weather passes. If we happen to close for the reminder of the day, guests on-site may have their admission receipt stamped to use for admission on a future day during the current operating season. 

Pirates Cove may temporarily close due to lightning or severe weather in the area. If we do temporarily close, handstamps will be offered to guest to facilitate re-entry into the park. If Pirates Cove must permanently close for the day, rainchecks will be given out once a valid receipt is presented.

If the weather is less than 65 degrees at the time of opening or the forecasted high for the day is less than 65 degrees, Pirates Cove will not open for the day.
