Children and Teen Programs at the Library

The Library hosts regular programs for children and teens.

Storytime:

The storytime schedule is as follows:

  • Toddler Storytime - Monday and Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Storytime Room
    Stories and songs targeted to children 18 months to 3 years old, but all ages are welcome. No Registration Required 
  • Baby Storytime - Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Storytime Room
    Stories and songs targeted to children 0 to 18 months old. No Registration Required
  • Preschool/Family Storytime - Thursday and Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Storytime Room
    Stories and songs targeted to children 2 to 5 years old but all ages are welcome. No Registration Required  NOTE: Friday Storytimes move to local parks June 2 - September 29

Children Programs (all ages):

  • Twice a month the Children's Librarians host in person programs for children of all ages. Check out our Events Calendar for details on upcoming programs. 

Tween Programs (ages 8 to 11):

  • Once a month the Children and Teen Librarians an in person program for tweens ages 8 to 11 years old. Check out our Events Calendar for details on upcoming programs.  If you have questions about Tween programs please send an email to kpowers@englewoodco.gov

Teen Programs (ages 12 to 18):

  • Teen Hangouts - Every Tuesday 5 - 7 p.m., the Teen Librarians host an in person Hangout for Teens in Middle School and High School. Hangouts are held in our new Teen Room!  These programs are casual opportunities for the librarians and teens to hangout and play games, do crafts and sometime watch movies. 
  • Teen Programs - Once a month the Teen Librarians host an In Person program for Teens ages 12 to 18.  These programs are generally on Friday evenings after hours. Check out our Events Calendar for details on specific Teen programs.
