Pirates Cove will be closed 6/6, 6/7, 6/13, 6/14, 6/20

As temperatures rise this spring, so has the need to recruit lifeguards for Pirates Cove Water Park in Englewood. The current shortage, affecting pools and water parks nationwide, will lead to a delayed opening. The park, which planned to open Saturday, May 28, will now open Saturday, June 4.

“With a national worker shortage, and competition from many others looking to hire lifeguards, we feel fortunate to only delay our opening by a week,” said Aquatics Manager Brad Anderson. “We appreciate the public’s patience and look forward to another season of fun and sun at Pirates Cove,” he added.
