We all want to feel like we’re part of something bigger than ourselves, to have a place we call home that connects us to the community and the people around us. That’s the goal of the City’s new Neighborhood Resource Program, centered on creating neighborhood groups that bring neighbors together to create a sense of belonging to each other, the neighborhood and the community of Englewood.

Mission

The mission of the neighborhood resources program is to build strong and inclusive neighborhoods throughout the City of Englewood. Individuals will be empowered to build relationships, identify issues within their community, access resources, and improve the quality of life for all citizens in Englewood.

Goal

The goal is to create a sense of belonging for residents through grass roots effort. All residents should feel connected to each other, to their neighborhood, to local government and to Englewood.
