Boards and Commissions

The City of Englewood has several boards, commissions and authorities made up of citizens, local business people, City employees and others who take an active interest in the City.

Serving on a board, commission or authority provides an opportunity for you to make a difference in your community.  All boards and commission work closely with City Council and City staff, often making recommendations on ways to improve the quality of services and quality of life for the residents of Englewood.

Board and Commission members are appointed by City Council in February and July of every year. 


Applications are open and will close on Tuesday December 9, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.  Board and Commission Interviews will take place on Monday January 13, 2025. 

Meetings dates and times are generally set by boards and commissions, in accordance with their bylaws. Meeting times are subject to change in the event of unique circumstances. Please check the city's master meeting calendar for information on specific meeting postings.
