Call for Art for the 2025 Calendar

Each year the City of Englewood produces a calendar that showcases artwork created by young students who live or go to school in Englewood. We are now seeking entries for the 2025 Calendar. The Student Art Contest is open to Englewood students from Kindergarten through 12th Grade - public, private, and home-schooled. The total number of entries will be narrowed down to 51 finalists and those students whose artwork is included in the calendar will recieve recognition by City Council.

Criteria & Guidelines

  • Artists must live or go to school in the City of Englewood.
  • Any two-dimensional medium (except photography and digital) will be accepted. Examples
    include drawings, paintings, pastels, collages, etc.
  • No paint-by-numbers or commercial art kits will be accepted.
  • Use of color is strongly encouraged.
  • Submitted artwork should be no smaller than 8” X 10”.
  • Only one entry per artist will be accepted.

Additional Information

  • Winning artists will be notified by mid-October.
  • The calendar will be published by late November.
  • All artwork will be returned to the submitting artists’ schools or will be available for
    the artists to pick up from the Englewood Civic Center after the calendar is printed.
  • The deadline for entries is Friday, September 20, 2024.
