Residential Building Guides

Englewood’s Building Division is the place to start planning your home improvement projects. In addition to offering consultation on specific construction projects, the division has numerous brochures with information on permitting, contractor licensing, how to hire a contractor and a guide to contracts. If you want to complete your project yourself, a homeowner affidavit is required in addition to a permit.

The city is now utilizing a new permit/project submittal and tracking software in an effort to streamline filing and tracking projects online.  Register for your secure account below to submit required documents, notifications throughout the review process, make online payments, and communicate with staff.
