Graffiti

Graffiti is unlawful. If you see graffiti vandalism in progress, please call 911 immediately with the location and description of the suspect(s).

Code Enforcement is very aggressive about removing graffiti, which can encourage criminal activity and lower property values. It is the property owners' responsibility to remove or paint over graffiti. If you receive a Notice of Violation, you have three (3) days to remove the graffiti.

Before removing graffiti, please contact Code Enforcement at 303.762.2335, or call the Police non-emergency number 303.761.7410 so that a report can be taken and submitted to the Police Department for further investigation.

The City of Englewood does not provide graffiti removal services. Those services can be located in your local phone directory or by searching the internet under "Denver area graffiti removal services.”

Details on Englewood's regulations are available on this downloadable file: Graffiti (PDF).
