Englewood Municipal Court provides Court Appointed Counsel (CAC) for all in-custody defendants until their release from jail.

 

Defendants requesting CAC who are not in custody, may submit a financial affidavit to quality for additional CAC representation if:

• You are over the age of 17
  AND
• The matter you are charged with carries a potential jail sentence
  AND
• The Judge determines after a review of your application that you financially qualify.

If CAC is appointed in your matter, it is your responsibility to ensure that CAC has reliable contact information for you.
