The probation office is located in the same building as the Court, in room number 2-221. A defendant is placed on probation in order for the Court to monitor conditions under which the defendant was sentenced and released. The probation officer's primary duty is to ensure that the defendant follows the Court's orders. The probation officer does not represent defendant in Court. However, they advise the Court of the defendant's compliance status. A defendant will not be placed on probation in lieu of fines or costs being paid.
The probation officer is available for an in-person or virtual appointment Monday through Friday.
