Procedural changes have been implemented. If you are currently ill or uneasy about appearing in person, please contact the Court for alternative procedures which may permit your attendance virtually or by phone rather than by physical appearance in court.  Defendants should contact the Court at 303-762-2580 or by email at court@englewoodco.gov  PRIOR to your initial court date in order to determine what procedures apply to you.

  • You will be given specific instructions if you are to utilize our Zoom Hearing options. You will need either a computer or smart phone to connect to the session. You will then be given a specific Zoom link you will need to use to access the hearing.
  • You may also be given an option to address your matter over the phone.
  • Some options will require you to accept and sign documents in order to validate the process.
  • All virtual and phone options require that you provide to us a current phone number, email address, and mailing address as applicable.

Defense attorneys may enter an appearance by email, court@englewoodco.gov or by fax at 303-762-2480. Court staff will review the submitted entry of appearance and contact you/your office to set a court date. Please be aware that additional written confirmation will be required. You may also call the court office at 303-762-2580 to enter your appearance verbally and then confirm all matters in writing at one time.
