Welcome and thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Englewood Municipal Court Restorative Justice (EMC-RJ) Program. Restorative Justice practices create a victim-centered, community-based response to crime and conflict. As a community member, your voice can play a pivotal role in the healing, repair and accountability required to rebuild trust, relationships and resilience within our community!

We are looking for volunteers (15-years-old and up) who are: 

• Curious
• Empathetic
• Able to suspend judgment
• Eager to learn and practice Restorative Justice values
• Able and willing to engage in contributive feedback conversations
• Committed to equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging
• Have a desire to serve their community   

Does this describe you? If so, we’d love to have you join us! Here are the steps to complete in order to volunteer with the EMC-RJ program:

1. Attend an EMC-RJ Program Information Session (1 hour; virtual)
2. Complete and submit an EMC-RJ Volunteer application (15 minutes; online)
3. Attend an EMC-RJ Community Member training (4.0 hours; virtual or in-person)

Please fill out the form completely and inform the EMC-RJ staff if you have any questions or concerns.
