Join us for the 2024 Englewood Police Citizen’s Academy Wednesday nights, August to November from 6 – 9 p.m.
The Citizen’s Police Academy is the community’s opportunity to learn all about the Englewood Police Department and the department’s opportunity to create meaningful connections with Englewood community members.
In the academy we will cover everything from traffic stops to crime scene investigation and SWAT response to police technology. This is an interactive, hands-on class and a great place to engage with officers and police staff.
The Academy is comprehensive in scope and covers many different areas of operation such as:
- Crime Scene/Forensic Science
- Code Enforcement
- Overview Criminal Investigation
- Shooting Simulation
- Distracted Driving
- Patrol Procedures
- SWAT Overview
- Fire Inspectors
- Traffic
- Drugs
