Parade/Special Event/Block Party Application

Block parties are a fun way to connect residents and neighbors together.  For block parties that wish to occupy part of the city street, a Street Occupancy permit is required from the Public Works Department.  Block Party Street Occupancy permits are available for a $25 fee. The permit application is available below. Permits are available between May 1 and October 31.  In order to help ensure the safety of guests and minimize potential pedestrian-automobile conflicts, barricades are required to be placed at each end of the street during block party events that occupy part of a city street.
