- Can I do a memorial tree in an Englewood park?
- Answer: Yes! A Memorial Tree not only gives a lasting legacy to a loved one or a meaningful event but also brings life and beauty to the community for years to come. Memorial trees are acknowledged on a commemorative tree plaque located at the Englewood Civic Center or at the Broken Tee Golf Course, depending on location of the memorial tree.
- For memorial trees located at the Broken Tee Golf Course, please contact Shannon Buccio at 303-762-2673 for information.
- Effective January 2023, the Memorial Bench Program has temporarily been suspended.
- Does the Parks Division have mulch available to the public?
- Answer: Free mulch is available to Englewood citizens throughout the year. The mulch is from Christmas trees that were dropped off in January. Call Jerry Barton at 303-762-2523 to arrange your pick up. Pick up is a 1/4 of a mile north of the City of Englewood's Service Center (2800 S Platte River Drive) around the bend on the right hand side. Please bring your own supplies.
