Gasoline

Gasoline should never be poured down the drain, on the ground, or thrown in the trash. Find someone who can use the gas in a lawn mower or other small gas mower. You can also bring the gas to the Household Hazardous Waste Roundup in September every year. Watch the City of Englewood website and the Citizen for further information.

These products are poisonous to humans, pets, and wildlife. They should never be burned, buried, dumped on the ground or in water, or poured down the drain. Tips on Household Hazardous Materials

  • Buy only what you need and use all of the product for its intended use.
  • Consider using safer alternatives when available.
  • Store leftovers in the original container with the original label.
  • Give leftovers to a friend, neighbor, or community service organization.
  • Store all household hazardous products away from children and pets in safe, tight containers.

The City of Englewood has made every effort to identify local recyclers accepting household recyclable materials. Changes in policies and procedures do occur; please verify information with dealer.
