About the Program

The cities of Englewood, Sheridan and Littleton have come together to launch the Sustainable Business Partnership, a regionally administered partner of the Colorado Green Business Network (CGBN). As a regional partner, the Sustainable Business Partnership is equipped with all the resources to implement the statewide CGBN in our area, offering the prestige of a statewide program with a tailored, local approach. The program is completely free for all participating businesses and non-profits

Who Can Register

The Sustainable Business Partnership is open to any business, industry, office, educational institution, municipality, government agency, community, nonprofit and organization. Whether you are a large manufacturing facility or a single-employee office, you can join the network and start your journey toward greater sustainability.

What We Do

The Sustainable Business Partnership of Englewood, Sheridan and Littleton, as a regional partner of CGBN, supports and rewards local businesses that aim to improve their environmental performance and exceed regulatory compliance. The program’s primary focuses are:

  • Technical Assistance: Providing free, off-site coaching and on-site assistance to any organization that requests it. This includes holistic opportunity assessments covering emissions, water, waste, energy, transportation and policy.
  • Recognition: Awarding businesses for exemplary sustainability practices that lead to resource reduction. Businesses can achieve bronze, silver or gold levels based on their sustainability efforts and are recognized at annual events.

Additionally, businesses that join the program benefit from being part of a network of like-minded organizations, which helps them reduce emissions, save costs and enhance their sustainability practices. Members receive access to talks and training sessions on important business sustainability topics and questions.

How to Get Started

  1. Register in GreenBizTracker: GreenBizTracker is the Sustainable Business Partnership's online database and application system. Signing up connects you with our newsletter for updates on upcoming events and funding opportunities.
  2. Complete the Welcome Survey: After signing in with your new account, click “Get started” to find the Welcome Survey under the surveys tab. Completing this survey is the first step to receiving technical assistance and recognition.

Once these steps are completed, businesses can schedule a remote pre-visit meeting. If desired, the Sustainable Business Partnership’s Green Business Program Coordinator can then provide further on-site technical assistance.

Recognition and Benefits

Businesses that demonstrate significant sustainability efforts are recognized at statewide events and can achieve different levels of certification:
