Apply for a New Passport
The City of Englewood Passport Office processes applications for new adult and minor U.S. passports as well as passport renewals for minors.
Applications are reviewed by appointment only*, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., at the Englewood Civic Center located at 1000 Englewood Parkway on the 3rd floor. We DO NOT process adult renewals. All Adult renewals must be mailed in by applicant. To find more information regarding renewals please visit The US Department of State.
*Appointments are released one month at a time Appointments NOVEMBER are now fully booked. Appointment availability for December will be released on Friday, November 22nd at 2pm.

Before You Arrive
The city asks residents interested in engaging with city passport operations to review the following notes before arriving or booking appointments.
Passport Photos
The city is taking passport photos at this time, for an additional fee of $15. You can also bring your own photo with you at the time of your appointment. You can find more information on photos and locations by visiting travel.state.gov.
Appointment Scheduling and Timing
The city only accepts two applicants per 20-minute appointment timeframes to accommodate facility cleaning between appointments thoroughly. If you have more than two applicants, please book multiple appointment times to avoid being turned away. The city cannot make any exceptions to this rule.
Please arrive at your appointment on time. Persons who arrive more than 5 minutes late will be turned away and asked to reschedule. Upon scheduling your appointment, you will receive a reminder email the week of your appointment with further instructions.
You Must Apply In Person if You Are
- You are applying for your first U.S. Passport
- You are under age 16 (minor must apply in person and be accompanied by both parents if they are under 16)
- Your previous U.S. Passport was issued when you were under age 16
- Your previous U.S. Passport was lost, stolen, or damaged
- Your previous U.S. Passport was issued more than 15 years ago
- Your name has changed since your U.S. Passport was issued, and you are unable to document your name change legally

PERSONS ARRIVING TO THEIR APPOINTMENTS WITHOUT A COMPLETED APPLICATION, CHECK BOOK OR MONEY ORDER(S) WILL BE TURNED AWAY
Passport Process
Fill out your application before you come to your appointment.
The Clerk's Office offers limited Passport appointments Monday - Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If you need an emergency passport or you are traveling within 14 days, you will need to go directly to the Department of State.
You must bring the following:
- Proof of citizenship (original birth certificate or naturalization certificate)
- Proof of identity (driver's license, school ID, etc.)
- Check book or money order
Fees
WE DO NOT ACCEPT DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS. PAYMENTS TO THE STATE MUST BE CHECK OR MONEY ORDER.
The Department of State Passport Fees (Federal) are: (must be check or money order made payable to the U.S. Department of State)
- Adults (16 years and older): $130
- Youth (15 years and younger): $100
**Additional fees may apply if you want a Passport Card, expedited services or overnight delivery.
Local fees (must be check or money order made payable to the City of Englewood):
- Acceptance fee: $35 (effective April 2, 2018 per State Rule)
